Today fires are roaming the hills and lands of California. Flames rise high from the Yorba Linda area. We have friends that live up in those hill. Please be praying for them. One of our friends has lost their house. Hopefully everyone will turn to God because of this disaster. Right now, my dad is over at our friends' house trying to keep the fire away. Please be praying for him and our other friends helping. Nothing is final and there may be some more changes.

A young couple moves into a new neighborhood.
The next morning while they are eating breakfast, the young woman sees her neighbor hanging the wash outside.
'That laundry is not very clean', she said. 'She doesn't know how to wash correctly. Perhaps she needs better laundry soap'
Her husband looked on, but remained silent.
Every time her neighbor would hang her wash to dry, the young woman would make the same comments.
About one month later, the woman was surprised to see a nice clean wash on the line and said to her husband: 'Look, she has learned how to wash correctly. I wonder who taught her this?'
The husband said, 'I got up early this morning and cleaned our windows.'
And so it is with life. What we see when watching others, depends on the purity of the window through which we look.
Before we give any criticism, it might be a good idea to check our state of mind and ask ourselves if we are ready to see the good rather than to be looking for something in the person we are about to judge.
Would you rather...
have long arms or short legs?
Would you rather...
be able to speak to animals or be able to speak and know every language?
Would you rather...
have large ears or a large nose?
Would you rather...
be locked in a room with any kind of communication (phone, computer, mail, ect.), but couldn't go outside your room and no one could go in your room... or be able to go in the outside world, but not be able to communicte with anyone (no talking, sign language, nothing!!!)?
These are hard! What would you rather do? In the comment box, tell me your choices :)
I would have to say this is the most addicting song... you listen once, and you can't get it out of your head! lol. listen. It's called 1 2 3 4 by Feist.
It feels I've had the longest Saturday ever! Early Saturday morning, my mom and I drove down to San Diego for my tournament. The first game started at 9:40... real early for being down in San Diego. At the game, we won 2-0! Our goals were scored towards the end and a minute apart from eachother.. it was crazy! Although we were joyous of our win, a few of the players, including me, were hurt. I hurt my knee under its cap; I think I moved the cap and bruised it underneath. After our early game, we played again at 2:30. This game was intense. We all played really hard and aggressive, but tied 0-0. Exhausted from two games, the team stayed the night in a large hotel. The next day, Sunday, which felt like an extended Saturday, we played a game at noon. For the Sunday game, there was a catch: if we lost or tied, we'd go home and be out of the tournament, but if we won, we'd play Monday. The game dragged on.. my knee hurt so bad...! At the end, with the score still 0-0, I decided I was too hurt and asked to be subbed. We had no hope. My coach continuously yelled we had only a couple minutes left. Corner kick... and a girl on my team hit it with her stomach and it went in..... GOAL! We were SOO excited; we'd play the next day! So, we'd stay the next night. On Monday, an addition to the extended Saturday, we played in the semi finals. Yipee! During the first minute of the game, we were scored on. Not so good. The whole time, until then, we were never scored on. Darn! After that goal, we made it real painful for the other team... and I got a YELLOW CARD!!!!.. but i didnt' know it until my dad told my after the game. Anyway, back to the game... after half time, we again got scored on. It didn't look like we had any hope... and we didn't. We lost 2-0. So, we didnt' go to the finals, we didn't win it all, but we DID learn about ourselves as a team and we learned our strength. The teams were afraid of us.. we fouled so much.. but it was great! I had an amazing weekend.. but now it feels like my Saturday is over, and Sunday is tomorrow! Too bad i have school tomorrow!
These videos are from CAMP! I went to Hume Lake..!!! We had three different contests: Blob (first 3), Noah's Nightmare (middle 3), and from the diving board (bottom 5). The bottom 8 are all belly flops! Hilarious!
If you cant' understad what we're saying, let me explain. On the blob, we say: B...L...O...B... and then the person gets "blobbed". With the belly-flop contests, we say: 1 belly belly.... 2 floppy floppy....3..... then they jump. It's pretty lame... but O well.
Below are pictures from the contest. They sure know how to fly :P
Below are pictures from around camp. 1: inside the cabin. 2: the swings with us on them :). 3: The chapel stage. 4: Joy and me. 5: the swings again. 6: Our cabin (we're on the top right side). 7: the boy's cabin (they get half of that little shack! G'Z! 8: Kelci and I took a picture of each other taking pictures... ya. 9: The "blob". 10: Noah's Nightmare (it's where u jump off a swing).
This is a song in August Rush. It's sung by Jonathan Rhys Meyers. I really love it!
